Short method. Sanitation is key. If you have an autoclave, sterilize your tools ahead of time. Otherwise, wash everything with an iodine solution or, if there are no other options, ethanol. Contamination is your enemy. Everything must be clean. Boil the handkerchiefs, rubber bands, sample jars, and lids. 1. Grind up your 'grains' (but not so much that it becomes powder). 2. Place your 'grains' in coffee pot (not the filter basket, the carafe). 3. Run 2 cups of clean water through coffee maker and let it sit on the hot plate for an hour. This releases all the good chemicals from you 'grains' and creates a fluid called wort. 4. Strain the wort through the coffee filter and place the filter full of 'grain' into the filter basket. Home made pizza or should I say the short life of pizza. Before: During: After:

It is time for the United States to become more inventive. We need to stop depending on other countries for our needs. We also need to stop being bullies about patents and software copyrights. It is killing the U.S. in that it is not allowing the U.S. to compete against the world in the marketplace. In my own situation, there was a tool I needed. I looked everywhere in the stores locally for a brace as I believe it is called. I just call it a hand drill/screwdriver. What I needed was to be able to work late at night building things without making a lot of noise. I also needed a hand tool I could use if the power was out. You still have to be able to work on computer equipment even when the power is down. Ironically, you can get most any other hand tool from a local store. You can get the brace from the web, but most likely it will have been made overseas. Not good enough. Do not know who said it, but I think it makes real sense. If you can dream it, you can draw it. Added another piece of geek wear to the family line. This makes a third men’s accessory that can be created from old computer parts. Always looking for new ways to re-purpose what we have. The first accessory we came up with was the geek belt : Down where I live bolo’s or a sort of tie substitute are a big thing. so we came up with the geek bolo : In fact, you could use it to carry around a working network patch cable. Beauty and functionality combined. The newest member of the group is the Geek cuff links : Shame I do not have a French cuff shirt to really show them off. Doing all that work sort of makes me hungry. If you can hack computers, why not get into hacking food. You do not have to depend on the Pizza deliveryman. What is more interesting is that it is a way to fill in down time if you have any. Why not make your own pizzas.
